“Kunskap som förändrar: Global-ARG 15 år möter Lancet-kommissionen”
This joint session will celebrate 15 years of Global-ARG while introducing the vision and progress of the Lancet Commission on Maternal and Newborn Health. Through presentations and discussion, the session will highlight how global research collaborations can generate evidence to inform policy, improve clinical practice, and accelerate progress towards better maternal and newborn health outcomes worldwide.

Session 23rd World Congress in Fetal Medicine, Vienna, Austria

The LCMNH participated in the 23rd World Congress in Fetal Medicine, engaging with clinicians, researchers, and policymakers from around the world. The Commission presented its ongoing global work to improve maternal and newborn health, expanded its international collaborative network, and invited healthcare facilities to contribute to its global facility survey.
Satellite Session, ICMNH Kenya
24–25 March 2026
The LCMNH hosted a well attended satellite session at the International Conference on Maternal and Newborn Health. The session featured presentations, an interactive panel discussion, and lively audience engagement, generating strong interest in the Commission’s vision and global research agenda. It provided an important platform for dialogue, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas among healthcare providers advocates, policymakers, and partners committed to improving maternal and newborn health worldwide.

The Nairobi Commissioners’ Meeting marked a key milestone for the LCMNH, bringing together all our commissioners from across the globe to define a shared vision, strategic priorities, and timelines for the Commission’s work.
